I have always believed in and supported the DARE program. My plan builds on the DARE program and does MORE than just teach our 5th graders to say no to drugs. My plan targets the higher grades to educate the kids about the benefits of making good choices and the consequences of making bad ones. We must also guide them toward career planning and development as they enter the high school years.
